Defining Innovation

Innovation can be a surprisingly hard thing to define. It is a rather abstract concept after all; simply pointing to a dictionary definition really doesn't serve anyone's interests. Instead, how about we take a little bit of a dive into understanding more about innovation and why it matters. These are key concepts for some federal funding programs such as SBIR and STTR, which are excellent small business growth and development opportunities.
